Demands and Needs Statement
This policy is suitable for any individual renting a motorhome or campervan from a rental company where you are liable to the rental company for any damage to the rented vehicle during the rental period.
This policy is only available as a daily policy covering a single rental up to 45 days in length.
What you get
- Cover up to €2,500 for any loss or damage to the vehicle that you are responsible for under the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
- Includes cover for tyres, windscreen, under body, towing and loss of use plus other benefits
- Policy includes cover for vehicles hired in your home country
- Covers motorhomes and campervans up to 7.5 Tonnes unladen weight.
Eligibility
- You must be aged between the ages of 23 and 84 years old.
- Hold a valid internationally recognised driving licence or permit for the hire vehicle. This must be valid in the country in which you are travelling.
- You must be a permanent resident in the European Economic Area (EEA) excluding UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Gibraltar, at the time of purchase of this policy.
- This policy covers vehicles specifically designed as a motorhome or campervan which include fixed sleeping and cooking facilities, with a value up to €100,000 (excluding tax) at the hire agreement’s start date and is a maximum of 20 years old since the date of first registration.
What’s Excluded
- This policy will not cover any rental that has already commenced.
- This policy will not pay any claim for third party death, injury or property.
- The first €350 of any claim submitted.

This policy meets the needs of any person renting a motorhome or campervan up to 7.5 Tonnes unladen weight from a rental agency. The policy covers the renter's liability to the rental agency for any loss or damage to the rented vehicle up to the limit shown on the certificate of insurance.
This policy can only be purchased as a single trip, covering a single rental up to 45 days.
You must be at least 23 year of age and not more than 84 years of age at the time of purchase.

All persons to be covered under this policy are:

- Hold a valid internationally recognised driving licence or permit for the hire vehicle. This must be valid in the country in which you are travelling.
- A permanent resident in the European Economic Area (EEA) at the time of purchase of this policy excluding residents of United Kingdom, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man or Gibraltar.
Additional Information:
- This policy is operative when the Policyholder or any other person named as lead driver on the certificate of insurance is shown as the lead driver on the rental agreement
- Only rentals starting and finishing during the period of insurance are covered.
- This insurance excludes rentals that have already commenced.
- This insurance is only available to persons permanently resident in one of the countries listed below.
- The contract of insurance is subject to Malta jurisdiction.
